Lionsgate has confirmed that Adrian Grunberg's upcoming film Rambo V: Last Blood (2019) will officially open in U.S. theaters on September 20.
The cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Paz Vega, Joaquín Cosio, Louis Mandylor, and Adriana Barraza. The film will be based on an original screenplay by Matthew Cirulnick (TV's South Beach and Absentia) and Stallone.

Plot: When the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo, who has been working on a ranch, crosses the U.S.-Mexican border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico's most violent cartels.
