Sunshine Comes to Blu-ray

20th Century Fox Japan has announced that they will be bringing the UK sci-fi film 'Sunshine' to Blu-ray on September 7th. The disc will be a BD-50 with 1080p video and DTS-HD MA audio. Extras include a making of featurette, a short film, deleted scenes, and trailers. Audio and subtitles will be in English, so this is very import friendly to Region A owners. It's nice to see Fox solidifying future plans after many months of being out of the Blu-ray game. 'Sunshine' is set to hit US theaters July 20th.

Fifty years from now, the sun is dying, and mankind is dying with it. Our last hope: a spaceship and a crew of eight men and women. They carry a device which will breathe new life into the star. But deep into their voyage, out of radio contact with Earth, their mission is starting to unravel.
