British label Fabulous Film will bring to Blu-ray director John Mackenzie's film The Honorary Consul a.k.a. Beyond the Limit (1983), starring Richard Gere, Michael Caine, Bob Hoskins, Elpidia Carrillo, and Joaquim de Almeida. The release will be available for purchase on April 8.
Synopsis: During a dirty war a half-English doctor in Argentina befriends the police, the rebels and the alcoholic Honorary British Consul, whose Latino wife he seduces. When the consul is mistakenly kidnapped by the rebels, he must pick a side. Cinematography by Phil Meheux (Casino Royale, The Saint).
