The MVD Marquee Collection will bring to Blu-ray Michael Winterbottom's comedy 24 Hour Party People (2002), starring Steve Coogan, John Thomson, Lennie James, Shirley Henderson, and Paddy Considine. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on June 15.
Synopsis: A wild and sexy tale of music, good times and the larger-than- life characters behind the spectacular rise and fall of Manchester's infamous Factory Records and Hacienda nightclub.
Blown away by an unknown local band called the Sex Pistols, TV personality Tony Wilson (Steve Coogan) is inspired to invent a uniquely anarchic record label.
