Synopsis: Becky and Amelia are girls at school together, but Becky is from a "show biz" family, or in other words, very low class. Becky manages to insinuate herself in Amelia's family and gets to know all their friends. From this possibly auspicious beginning, she manages to ruin her own life, becoming sick, broke, and lonely, and also ruins the lives of many other "loved ones". The first full color, 3-strip Technicolor film.

Synopsis: Reformed outlaw Glyn McLyntock (James Stewart) has become a guide for farmers headed to Oregon. When he rescues thief Emerson Cole (Arthur Kennedy) from execution, Cole joins him on the journey. Once the settlers arrive, they discover that a trader who was supposed to send them provisions is now trying to scam them. After McLyntock and Cole travel to Portland to forcibly retrieve the supplies, Cole betrays McLyntock and steals the goods himself. McLyntock pursues, ready for battle.

The Strange Door
Synopsis: The Sire de Maletroit (Charles Laughton), is an evil French nobleman so obsessed with hatred for his own brother (Paul Cavanagh) that he imprisons him in the castle dungeon. The Sire tries to destroy the life of Cavanagh's daughter (Sally Forrest) by forcing her to marry rogue (Richard Stapley), but plans are upset when they fall in love. Aided by Voltan (Boris Karloff), an abused servant, the lovers attempt to escape but the Sire imprisons them in a cell, whose closing walls may mean violent death for these innocent victims.

Synopsis: Jealousy, loyalty, and a family feud between two brothers are all at play in

The sudden death of Jaffrey (George Sanders) and Clifford (Vincent Price) Pyncheon's father provides the vengeful and vindictive Jaffrey with the perfect opportunity to get his brother out of the way and seize the family fortune. Framed for murder and forced to leave his fiancée (Margaret Lindsay) behind, Clifford is sent off to prison, where he befriends Matthew Hargrave (Dick Foran), the descendent of the Maule family, with whom the Pyncheons have a long history of turbulence. Can the two join together to foil Jaffrey, or are the families destined to repeat the mistakes of the past and live out the curse of their ancestors?
