In an early announcement to retailers, MGM Home Entertainment in conjunction with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment have announced an onslaught of classic catalog titles for release on Blu-ray this May. On May 12th, they will release '
Fargo', '
Force 10 From Navarone', '
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly', and the James Bond films '
License to Kill', and '
The Man with the Golden Gun'.
The following week, on May 19th, they will release the 2007 release '
Lions for Lambs' on Blu-ray.
Technical specs have only been revealed for some of the titles, but you can expect to see 1080p AVC video accompanied by a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack for all the releases. Special features have not been announced at this time, though we expect them to start trickling in later today.
