Shout Factory announced today that it is preparing a Blu-ray release of director Ridley Scott's crime thriller Someone to Watch Over Me (1987), starring Tom Berenger, Mimi Rogers, Lorraine Bracco, Jerry Orbach, and John Rubinstein. The release will be available for purchase on March 12.
Supplemental features to be included on this upcoming release have not yet been finalized. Together with technical specs, they will be revealed as the street date approaches.
Synopsis: A stunning New York socialite and a down-to-earth city cop are caught in a deadly web of illicit passion and heart-stopping suspense in this taut, stylish thriller. On March 19, the studio will also release a Collector's Edition of Cheech Marin's film Born in East L.A. (1987), starring Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez, Daniel Stern, Kamala Lopez, and Jan-Michael Vincent.
