Scream Factory has announced that it will add to its Blu-ray catalog two early sci-fi titles: Jack Arnold's
Tarantula (1955) and Nathan Juran's
The Deadly Mantis (1957). The two releases will be available for purchase on March 19.

Synopsis: Biochemist Gerald Deemer (Leo G. Carroll, North by Northwest) has a plan to feed the world by using a growth formula on plants and animals. Instead he creates terror beyond imagining when his work spawns a spider of mammoth proportions!
