Scream Factory: Tobe Hooper's The Mangler Detailed for Blu-ray

Scream Factory has detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of Tobe Hooper's film The Mangler (1995), starring Robert Englund, Ted Levine, and Jeremy Crutchley. The release will be available for purchase on December 11.

Synopsis: Based on King's short story, this white-knuckle chiller follows a cop (Ted Levine) as he investigates a series of grisly accidents … and uncovers a deadly town secret that has been hidden for years – a terrifying entity that threatens to destroy everything in its path. With time running out and a young girl's life in the balance, he races to destroy the beast before it's too late!

Extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date but we can confirm today that we have a new interview with Englund! We are also aware of the unrated cut of the film and are trying our best to secure a version of it for our release. Additionally, cover will be reversible and will feature the "sharp red" title treatment art that was commonly seen on VHS back in the day.
