Kino Lorber have officially announced and detailed two upcoming Blu-ray releases of Mario Bava films: Knives of the Avenger (1966) and Four Times That Night (1971). The two releases will be available for purchase on January 15.
Knives of the Avenger
Synopsis: A Viking warrior protects a young peasant woman and her son from an evil regent bent on claiming the woman and the kingdom. A reimagining of the western classic Shane as a Viking drama. Starring Cameron Mitchell, Fausto Tozzi, Giacomo Rossi Stuart, Luciano Pollentin, and Amedeo Trilli.

A spicy Italian variation on the multi-perspective storyline of Akira Kurosawa's Rashomon, Four Times That Night was lensed by cinematographer Antonio Rinaldi (Danger: Diabolik, Planet of the Vampires).
