Carlotta Films will distribute theatrically the new 4K restoration of Jean-Paul Rappeneau's classic film The Horseman on the Roof (1995), starring Juliette Binoche, Olivier Martinez, Pierre Arditi, François Cluzet, and Jean Yanne. The restoration will open in select French cinemas on November 7.
Synopsis: Academy Award winner Juliette Binoche (Chocolat, The English Patient, Best Supporting Actress) highlights this rousing, passionate adventure! In a world ravaged by revolution and violence, two strangers-a handsome renegade (Olivier Martinez, Unfaithful) and a beautiful countess (Binoche)-find their only chance for survival is each other!
