Upcoming Kino Video Blu-ray Releases Detailed

Kino Lorber have dated and detailed three upcoming Blu-ray releases: Lewis R. Foster's El Paso (1949), Joseph Pevney's Female on the Beach (1955), and Joseph Pevney's Foxfire (1955).

El Paso

Synopsis: In El Paso, lawyer and ex-Confederate captain Clay Fletcher forms a vigilante group to bring law and order to a town where the judge is a drunk, the sheriff is corrupt and the town is run by a crooked landowner. Cinematography by Ellis W. Carter (Jack Arnold's The Incredible Shrinking Man).

Female on the Beach

Synopsis: Lynn Markham (Joan Crawford), a recent widow, moves into a beach house where the former owner fell to her death from the balcony. What seemed like an accident turns to suspicion of murder as Lynn finds herself drawn into a torrid affair with a handsome beachcomber (Jeff Chandler) who may be harboring a sinister secret. Directed by Joseph Pevney, Female on the Beach is a stylish showcase for Crawford's intense performance and features Jan Sterling, Cecil Kellaway and Natalie Schafer in key supporting roles.
