British label Second Run has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray From Lift to The Road: The Films of Marc Isaacs. The two-disc box set will be available for purchase on October 8.
Synopsis: Recognized as one of the foremost documentary filmmakers of his generation, Marc Isaacs creates intimate portraits fueled by insight, compassion and humor. His empathetic and deeply moving documentaries explore the extraordinary world of the everyday, presenting a unique vision of modern Britain.
A comprehensive collection of Isaacs' work in a two-disc Limited Edition Box Set together with a newly-published 80-page book 'The Human Element' featuring new writing by Isaacs on his filmmaking processes, and including essays and reflections by Isaacs' regular collaborators.
