U.S. label Massacre Video has confirmed that it is finalizing its upcoming Blu-ray release of Don Dohler's thriller Fiend a.k.a. Deadly Neighbor (1980), starring Don Leifert, George Stover, Greg Dohler, Steve Frith, and Pam Dohler. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
The label has also revealed the official cover art for the upcoming release, which is included below.
Synopsis: An evil spirit enters a graveyard and reanimates the corpse of music teacher Eric Longfellow. However, in order to stay alive, he has to wrap his hands around his victims' throats to absorb their life essences. When he moves to the suburbs of Baltimore, Maryland, his neighbor begins to suspect something just is not right with Mr. Longfellow.
