New Blu-ray.com Feature: New Deals

For those of you who purchase your Blu-ray titles via Amazon.com, you are well aware that the online retail giants routinely adjusts their prices based on distributor input and consumer demand. This occasionally results in amazing deals that may only last a day. To better help you, the penny-pinching consumer, track these deals, our programming geniuses have developed a "New Deals" tracker.

Simply click on the link above (which can also be found in the sidebar of the "Movies" section of the website) or here and you will see a list of Blu-ray titles that has recently been reduced in price. You can see the old price, the new price, the change, and how long ago the change occurred.

For instance, if I go to the page now, and pick "50% or More" in savings and "United States" as source from the drop down menu (you may default to the US, depending on your site settings), I see that the Blu-ray release of 'Space Buddies' has dropped from a price of $22.99, to $16.99, a savings of $6.00! I also see, by changing the drop down to "40% or More", that the Arnold Schwarzenegger film 'Collateral Damage' has dropped $6.96 in price for the Blu-ray pre-order, from $21.95 a day ago to $14.99 today!

In these tough economic times, every dollar counts, and this tool let you see what the best deals are for you. You can select the amount of savings from the MSRP, and even the country of sale, to generate a list of titles to choose from.

We love hearing your feedback, so if you like this feature, let us know.
