Primera Announces Bravo XRP-Blu Disc Publisher

Primera Technology, Inc., the world's leading developer and manufacturer of CD, DVD and Blu-ray Disc duplication and printing equipment, today announced its Bravo XRP-Blu Disc Publisher. Along with built-in robotics and full-color direct-to-disc inkjet printing, the Bravo XRP-Blu incorporates two Panasonic SW-5582 drives to record onto the widest range of optical media, including CD-R, DVD-R/DVD+R (single and dual layer) and BD-R (single and dual layer). Dual-layer BD-R media has a capacity of up to 50GB per disc.
An advanced, sixth-generation robotic mechanism is used to transport discs into the built-in Panasonic recorder. After recording, each disc is individually printed in full-color at up to 4800 dpi resolution. Up to 100 discs can be burned and printed per job from a Mac or Windows computer. Intended markets include mid- to large-sized companies and organizations including government and military, medical records and imaging systems, banking, insurance, back-up and archival, high-definition video, digital movie post production and more.
