Scorpion Releasing has officially announced its upcoming Blu-ray release of Daryl Duke's film
I Heard the Owl Call My Name (1973), starring Tom Courtenay, Dean Jagger, Paul Stanley, Marianne Jones, George Clutesi, and Keith Pepper. The release, which will be distributed by Kino Lorber, will be available for purchase on October 2.
Synopsis: A young priest named Mark is sent as a vicar to a native American village in B.C. Canada, there he learns of faith and humanity, as he watches their culture being torn to shreds. Based on Margaret Craven's novel of the same name, and Gerald Di Pego's teleplay.
