Kino: 4K Remaster of Midas Run Coming Soon to Blu-ray

Kino Lorber have confirmed that they are preparing a Blu-ray release of Alf Kjellin's crimed comedy Midas Run (1969), starring Fred Astaire, Richard Crenna, Anne Heywood, Ralph Richardson, Adolfo Celi, John Le Mesurier, Jacques Sernas, and Cesar Romero. The release, which will be sourced from a brand new 4K remaster, is expected to arrive on the market late this year.

Synopsis: A British agent (Fred Astaire) recruits a professor (Richard Crenna) in a plot to hijack gold bricks from a jetliner. Based on an original story and screenplay by Berne Giler (Affair in Trinidad, TV's The Man from U.N.C.L.E.). Cinematography by Ken Higgins (Darling).
