British label Eureka Entertainment has officially announced that it will release The Butterfly Tree, Priscilla Cameron's seductive and heart-warming story starring Golden Globe nominee Melissa George (30 Days of Night), in selected cinemas nationwide (UK & Ireland) from July 13.

The label has also acquired the distribution rights in the UK and Ireland for the charming and moving comedic drama Lucky, John Carroll Lynch's directorial debut featuring Harry Dean Stanton (Cool Hand Luke; Alien; Paris, Texas; Repo Man) in his last starring role.

Lucky

Lucky follows the spiritual journey of Harry Dean Stanton's character 'Lucky' a cantankerous, self-reliant 90 year old atheist and the quirky characters that inhabit the Arizona town where he lives. Having out-lived and out-smoked all of his contemporaries, the fiercely independent Lucky finds himself at the precipice of life, thrust into a journey of self-exploration, leading towards that which is so often unattainable: enlightenment.

It is the directorial debut from John Carroll Lynch, an in-demand character actor who has played roles in the likes of Fargo and Zodiac. The cast also features director David Lynch (Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet), Ron Livingston (The Conjuring, Swingers, Office Space), Ed Begley Jr. (St. Elsewhere), and Tom Skerritt (Alien, Top Gun, Contact).

Lucky has received rave reviews following its US release just days after his death at age 91, including Variety's Joe Leydon who described the film as "an unassumingly wonderful little film about nothing in particular and everything that's important."

Lucky, premiered in the UK at the BFI London Film Festival 2017 and has since screened in Scotland at the Glasgow Film Festival 2018, and will be released by Eureka Entertainment in cinemas nationwide (UK & Ireland) later this year, ahead of a home video release. More details to follow over the coming weeks.

Through the vivacious Evelyn, Fin learns the power of forgiveness and relinquishes his goddess in return for a family. In this seductive and heart-warming story, both men will discover the power of selfless love.
