For the week that ended on April 21st, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's The Greatest Showman remained at number one on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. This musical biopic about the life and times of P.T. Barnum (Hugh Jackman), The Greatest Showman proved a sleeper hit with audiences last December. The film garnered mediocre critical notices (a 48% Metacritic rating), but viewers still supported the picture, helping it net a worldwide gross of $424 million on top of its estimated $84-million production budget. This week, The Greatest Showman had a very good Blu-ray market share of 62%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings was Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi. The latest - and most controversial - installment in the iconic Star Wars franchise, The Last Jedi was a massive hit with critics and audiences. The film garnered great critical notices (an 85% Metacritic rating), and viewers supported the picture to the tune of a $1.3-billion gross (worldwide) on top of its estimated $200-million production budget. The Last Jedi had a strong HD market share of 77% and sold 67% as many Blu-rays and 54% as many overall package-media units as The Greatest Showman.

Finally, Lionsgate Home Entertainment's The Commuter filled out the top-three spots on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. A B-movie actioner (and the fourth collaboration from star Liam Neeson and director Jaume Collet-Serra), this film proved a modest success in January. The film scored average critical notices (a 56% Metacritic rating) and then grossed over $119 million worldwide on top of its rumored $40-million production budget. The Commuter had an HD market share of 50% and sold 30% as many Blu-rays and 37% as many total units as The Greatest Showman.
