U.S. label ClassicFlix has revealed that it is finalizing a brand new restoration of director Harold French's film noir The Paris Express a.k.a. The Man Who Watched Trains Go By (1952), starring Claude Rains, Märta Torén, Marius Goring, Herbert Lom, Anouk Aimée, Felix Aylmer, and Ferdy Mayne.

A Blu-ray release of the new restoration is expected to arrive on the market this summer.

Synopsis: A Dutch company's owner (Claude Reins) bankrupts his own company, burns the incriminating ledgers and plans to run to Paris with the company payroll. But he is caught in the act by his accountant (Marta Toren) who challenges his actions, leading to a reversal of roles. Cinematography by Otto Heller (Peeping Tom, The Ipcress File).
