In an early announcement to retailers, MGM Home Entertainment in conjunction with Fox Home Entertainment has revealed that they will bring the James Bond film '
Moonraker' to Blu-ray on March 24th, the same day as the recently announced 'Quantum of Solace'. Video will be presented in 2.35:1 1080p AVC accompanied by a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.
It is widely assumed that MGM would release the next six Bond films from the catalog on Blu-ray in conjunction with the Blu-ray release of 'Quantum of Solace', the latest James Bond film, but this is the first time we seen any announcement (even if its just a retailer alert) from the studio.
