For the week that ended on March 10th, Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Thor: Ragnarok debuted at the top of the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. The third film in Marvel's Thor franchise - and the latest installment in its popular MCU offerings - Ragnarok became the runaway box-office success that has eluded the Thor pictures up to this point. The film scored decent critical notices (a 74% Metacritic rating) and went on to gross over $854 million worldwide on top of its estimated $180-million production budget. This week, Thor: Ragnarok had a very strong Blu-ray market share of 83%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings was Pixar and Walt Disney Home Entertainment's Coco. This animated musical-comedy proved yet another success for Pixar's creative department. In addition to its worldwide box-office gross of over $745 million, the picture scored terrific critical notices (a 81% Metacritic rating) and recently won Academy Awards for both Best Original Song and Best Animated Feature. On the Blu-ray-only chart, Coco had a solid HD market share of 66% and sold 31% as many Blu-rays as Thor. Regarding the overall package-media list, the film sold 39% as many total units as the Marvel sequel.

Finally, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's Murder on the Orient Express filled out the top-three spots on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. A star-studded adaptation of Agatha Christie's most iconic mystery, Murder on the Orient Express proved a modest success after its release in November. While the picture scored mediocre critical ratings (a 52% Metacritic score), audiences responded more favorably to the feature, helping it gross $102 million domestically on top of its estimated $55-million production budget. Murder on the Orient Express had an HD market share of 53% and sold 4% as many Blu-rays and 7% as many total units as Thor: Ragnarok.
