Lionsgate Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Michael and Peter Spierig's horror thriller Winchester (2017), starring Helen Mirren, Jason Clarke, Sarah Snook, Angus Sampson, and Eamon Farren. The release will be available for purchase on May 1.
Synopsis: Inspired by true events, Winchester is set on an isolated stretch of land outside of San Francisco where there sits the world's most haunted house. Seven stories tall with hundreds of rooms, the house has been under construction for decades. But heiress Sarah Winchester (Mirren) is not building for herself, for her niece (Snook), or for the troubled doctor (Clarke) she has summoned. She is building it as an asylum for hundreds of vengeful ghosts.
