Desay AV did not have any new Blu-ray players on display. They do have Blu-ray players already for sale and they are under $200 which makes them unique, but a trend that will continue to grow. They have three Blu-ray players in their line up. You choose which you like the looks of, as inside all the players are the same.
With all the other Blu-ray players around from other companies there are two things that makes it work commenting on this company. One is the price. There have been announcements from other companies for sub $200, but this company is actually delivering a player below $200 right now. The other thing of note is that the company representative said they are expecting to stop making DVD players very soon.
The exact technical specifications are a little vague on these players, however they have a 1080p output via HDMI 1.3 with deep color support. The audio out is 7.1 channel and after looking at the rear panel this is only possible via HDMI, but it does support Dolby Digital, Dolbly Digitial Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS and DTS-HD. Toslink (optical) and coaxial SPDIF are also provided, which would make this a good choice to hook up to an older receiver that is sitting in the spare room, remember these outputs can't support the new HD audio. CD and MP3 CD playback is also supported.
The importance of what this company is doing can't be understated. They are brining Blu-ray into homes that could not otherwise afford it and they have made the decision to discontinue DVD. Once one company does this it won't take long for all the other companies, sorry I should say nearly all the other companies to start to follow. Just in case my question got lost in the translation I asked it again in a slightly different way and got the same answer so I'm confident I understood the answer and and the company representative understood the question.
If you are planning on buying one of these players please check with your retailer for the exact specifications.

The rear is the same for all models.

Please Note these were still wrapped in protective plastic so some of the photos make the finish look bad. The finish looked fine when viewing in person.
