The Snowman Blu-ray

Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray director Tomas Alfredson's (Let the Right One In) thriller The Snowman (2017), starring Rebecca Ferguson, Michael Fassbender, Chloë Sevigny, Val Kilmer, and James D'Arcy. The release will be available for purchase on January 16.

When elite crime squad's lead detective Harry Hole (Michael Fassbender, X-Men series) investigates the disappearance of a victim on the first snow of winter, he fears an elusive serial killer may be active again. With the help of a brilliant recruit (Rebecca Ferguson, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation), the cop must connect decades-old cold cases to the brutal new one if he hopes to outwit this unthinkable evil before the next snowfall.

The film is executive produced by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese (The Wolf of Wall Street, Shutter Island) with a screenplay by Peter Straughan (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Hossein Amini (Drive), and Soren Sveistrup ("The Killing") and photography by Dion Beebe (Edge of Tomorrow, Memoirs of a Geisha).
