Independent distributors Well Go USA have detailed their upcoming Blu-ray release of director Stephen Fung's action thriller The Adventurers (2017), starring Jean Reno, Andy Lau, Shu Qi, Jingchu Zhang, and Tony Yo-ning Yang. The release will be available for purchase on January 2.
Synopsis: In this slick, high-stakes action-adventure, the world's top thieves – the infamous and charismatic Cheung (Andy Lau), his former partner in crime, Xiao (Tony Yang), and beautiful chameleon Ye (Shu Qi) - join forces to pull off the heist of a lifetime. But when they find themselves pursued across Europe by a legendary French detective (Jean Reno), they'll have to take their game to the next level.
*The Adventurers is a loose remake of director John Woo's classic action thriller Once a Thief (1991), starring Chow Yun-Fat, Leslie Cheung, and Cherie Chung.
