The Redemption label confirmed today that it is preparing various new titles for Blu-ray release. Amongst them are Jean Rollin's
Dracula's Fiancee (2002) and Sabu's
Miss Zombie (2013). There are no preliminary street dates for the these releases, but they are expected to arrive on the market in early 2018.
Miss Zombie
Synopsis: A wealthy married couple decide to ignore strict laws banning zombies in private homes and takes in a female zombie to groom as their housekeeper. When the zombie arrives, they also receive a note warning against feeding her any type of meat and also a loaded handgun. Meanwhile, the scarred zombie named Sara endures horrors, while longing for something from her past. Starring Makoto Togashi, Tôru Tezuka, and Ayaka Komatsu.
Dracula's Fiancée
Synopsis: While looking for the earthly remains of Count Dracula, a Professor and his young assistant are thrown into a surreal parallel universe of darkness and decay where they encounter supernatural creatures, such as a jester, his vampire lover, the scarlet She-Wolf, sorcerers, and a sensuous, baby-eating Ogress! Ultimately, the Professor's quest leads to a confrontation with the beautiful Isabelle who is possessed by an unspeakable evil force and has the power to decide his fate. Starring Jacques Orth, Thomas Smith, and Sandrine Thoquet.
