Buena Vista Home Entertainment has announced that the parody movie '
Scary Movie' will be released for Blu-ray on October 23rd. No specs have been released as of yet, but we expect a 1080p video transfer accompanied by a PCM audio track. 'Scary Movie 4' is already on Blu-ray in Japan and the UK (region free), so this marks the second release in the series on Blu-ray.
A parody of modern horror films about a group of teenagers who are being terrorised by a serial killer. Some of the send–ups include: 'Scream', 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', 'The Blair Witch Project', 'The Sixth Sense' and 'The Matrix'.
