Roots of Evil Blu-ray

German label Subkultur Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Christian Anders's crime thriller Roots of Evil a.k.a. Die Brut des Bösen (1979), starring Christian Anders, Maribel Martín, Dunja Rajter, Deep Roy, Ria Kemp, Fernando Hilbeck, and Ichimi. The release will be available for purchase on November 29.

Synopsis: Aspiring karate teacher Frank Mertens (Anders) gets in a whole lot of trouble when another competitor, a nasty midget named Van Bullock (cult star Deep Roy), decides that there is room in the city for only one karate expert.
