The Plague Dogs. The four releases are expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Supplemental features to be included on each release will be finalized and revealed as the street dates approach.
Matinee
Synopsis: Step back into a time of outrageous movie-theater gimmicks and larger-than-life-B-screen stars in this charming homage to the great sci-fi and horror flicks of the 1950s and 2960s.
John Goodman is at his uproarious best as the William Castle-inspired movie promoter Lawrence Woolsey, who brings his unique brand of flashy showmanship to the unsuspecting residents of Key West, Florida.
It's 1962, and fifteen-year-old fan Gene Loomis (Simone Fenton) can't wait for the arrival of Woolsey, who is in town to promote his latest offering of atomic power gone berserk, Mant! But the absurd vision of Woolsey's tale takes on a sudden urgency as the Cuban Missile Crises places the real threat of atomic horror just 90 miles off the coast. With the help of Gene and Woolsey's leading lady, Ruth (Cathy Moriarty), the master showman gives Key West a premiere they'll never forget. Anything can happen in the movies, and everything does in this hilarious tribute to a more innocent (and outrageous) time in American cinema.
Into the Night
Synopsis: When two strangers stumble into international intrigue in the middle of a Los Angeles night, anything can happen...and does, in this zany film noir directed by John Landis.
Ed Orkin (Jeff Goldblum) is an insomniac with a cheating wife and a dull job. His chances for excitement look hopeless until a mysterious blond named Diana (Michelle Pfeiffer) drops onto the hood of his car. Now it's Ed's turn for some adventure and romance as Diana leads him on a merry and murderous chase where the payoff could be dollars or death.
the outstanding cast includes David Bowie, Vera Miles, Dan Aykroyd and a host of Hollywood's hottest directors in cameos. It's a night on the town you'll never live down.
Mac and Me
Synopsis: Greetings, earthlings. A pint-sized extraterrestrial has just landed on our planet by accident-and he's feeling a little alienated because he got separated from his family upon arrival. Fortunately, the hilarious, intergalactic antics of this Mysterious Alien Creature (MAC) will help him charm his way into the heart of everyone he meets, including Ronald McDonald in a rare cameo!
As far as best friends go, MAC makes a pretty good one. He has a gentle disposition and a terrific sense of humor. But for new-kid-in-town Eric Cruise, the problem is that no one will believe that his fun new friend even exists. Everyone thinks it's all science fiction until MAC comes out of hiding and takes Eric, his family, his neighborhood and his world on a fantastical journey that will transform their lives...forever!
The Plague Dogs
Synopsis: Determined to escape the confines of an evil laboratory, two dogs make a flight for freedom into the rugged hills. Panicked by the cries of other animals on their way out, they accidentally break a vial used by plague researchers, and when news gets out that the two could be infected, the human world launches the deadliest hunt. Pursued at every turn, the dogs are to retreat further and further until their time runs out and they must make the ultimate decision - and take their chance with fate.
