Garagehouse Pictures: 4K Restoration of The Intruder Coming to Blu-ray

U.S. label Garagehouse Pictures has announced that it will release on Blu-ray Chris Robinson's proto-slasher The Intruder (1975), starring starring Mickey Rooney, Yvonne DeCarlo, Ted Cassidy, and George De Vries. The release will arrive on the market later this year.

Official synopsis: Mickey Rooney, Yvonne De Carlo, and Ted Cassidy star, along with Chris Robinson (who also wrote, produced and directed), in a grisly story of greed, murder and irrational madness. An unseen evil is stalking eleven visitors to a remote island retreat. Who – or what – is it? One thing is for certain: it will not stop until it kills them all!

*Earlier this summer, the label also confirmed that it is preparing for Blu-ray two films from the late 80s directed by Andy Milligan. Monstrosity (1987) is a horror comedy starring Hal Borske, Carrie Anita, and Michael Lunsford, while The Weirdo (1989) is a more intense horror thriller starring Steve Burington, Jessica Straus, and Naomi Sherwood. The official coverwork for the upcoming Blu-ray releases is included with this announcement.
