U.S. label Blue Underground has sent us a brand new trailer for the upcoming Blu-ray release of Dick Maas' horror thriller Amsterdamned (1988), starring Huub Stapel, Monique van de Ven, and Serge-Henri Valcke. The release will arrive on the market later this year.
The upcoming release will be sourced from a BRAND NEW 2K restoration of the film.
Synopsis: There is a serial killer at bay in Amsterdam's canal network and the race is on to stop him before mass hysteria grips the nation. Dick Maas's cult slasher movie starts as it means to go on when the predator leaves the protective habitat of the dark canal to claim his first victim before dragging her back into a watery grave.
*Also later this year, the label will release a new 2K restoration of director Mass' thriller The Lift.
