British label 88 Films has confirmed that it plans to add three new titles to its Blu-ray catalog: Mark Rosman's The House on Sorority Row (1983), Dimitri Logothetis' Slaughterhouse Rock (1988), and Sweet Sixteen (1983). The three Blu-ray releases are expected to arrive on the market later this year.
The House on Sorority Row
Synopsis: Flirtatious young sorority sisters who are days away from graduation set out to throw one last decadent celebration. Unbeknownst to them, the strict matron of their house hides a horrendous secret thought long buried. A gruesome accident is witnessed by a hideous fiend, hidden within the once nurturing dwelling, which triggers a rampage of death and destruction. Before the end, the peril faced by this sisterhood will push them to the brink of annihilation. And rivers of blood will drown all who enter...The House on Sorority Row. Slaughterhouse Rock
Synopsis: A man visits Alcatraz prison after having dreams about all the people who died there. When he gets there, his brother is possessed by an envil cannibal demon. The ghost of a female heavy metal singer who was killed there tries to help the man fight the monster. Starring Toni Basil, Nicholas Celozzi, Tom Reilly, Tammy Hyler, and Hope Marie Carlton.
Sweet Sixteen
Synopsis: A beautiful lonely girl named Melissa tries to make new friends from a town she's currently living in. The only problem is, each of the boys that she spends time with end up brutally murdered. Her sixteenth birthday is on the way, but Melissa turns out to be a suspect when it seems she's the last person who has seen her boyfriends alive. Starring Bo Hopkins, Susan Strasberg, Don Stroud, Dana Kimmell, and Steve Antin.
