Ben Wheatley Visits the Criterion Collection

The folks at Criterion have released a brand new video showing filmmaker Ben Wheatley visiting their office and picking up some of his favorite films from the now rather famous DVD/Blu-ray closet.

The picks: The Horse's Mouth, Grey Gardens, Two-Lane Blacktop, Things to Come, Fishing With John, Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman, Seconds, Sweet Smell of Success, Crumb, Rumble Fish, and Watership Down.

*Wheatley's latest film, Free Fire, is currently playing in theaters across the nation. It is distributed by A24.

Synopsis: Massachusetts late '70s. Justine (Brie Larson) has brokered a meeting in a deserted warehouse between two Irishmen (Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley) and a gang led by Vernon (Sharlto Copley) and Ord (Armie Hammer) who are selling them a stash of guns. But when shots are fired in the handover, a heart stopping game of survival ensues.
