For the week that ended on April 23rd, Lucasfilm and Disney Home Entertainment's Rogue One: A Star Wars Story remained at the top of the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales rankings: it's now been number one for three weeks. A prequel to George Lucas' 1977 sci-fi classic, Rogue One continued the Star Wars franchise to fantastic success. The film grossed over $1 billion worldwide on top of an estimated $200-million production budget, and it also scored decent critical notices (a 65% favorability rating on Metacritic). This week, Rogue One had a solid Blu-ray market share of 71%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists was Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Split. With this film, filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan continues the career resurgence that he began with 2015's sleeper hit The Visit. Split proved even more successful, grossing over $274 million worldwide on top of an estimated $9-million production budget, and it also scored critical notices to the tune of a 62% favorability rating on Metacritic. Split sold 71% as many Blu-rays (and had a Blu-ray market share of 57%) and 89% as many total units as Rogue One.

Finally, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's Hidden Figures filled out the top-three spots on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales charts. This crowd-pleasing docudrama was a critical and commercial success for its distributor last fall. The film grossed over $227 million worldwide on top of a very modest $25-million production budget, and it also scored very good critical notices (a 74% favorability rating on Metacritic), even netting Academy Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Picture at this year's Oscar ceremony. On the Blu-ray-only ranking, Hidden Figures sold 38% as many Blu-rays as Rogue One and had a Blu-ray market share of 39%. Regarding the overall package-media list, the film sold 69% as many total units as Lucasfilm's latest Star Wars entry.
