StudioCanal have dated their upcoming Blu-ray release of Ben Wheatley's latest film, Free Fire (2016), starring Brie Larson, Enzo Cilenti, Sam Riley, Michael Smiley, and Cillian Murphy. The release will be available for purchase on August 7.
Synopsis: Massachusetts late '70s. Justine (Brie Larson) has brokered a meeting in a deserted warehouse between two Irishmen (Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley) and a gang led by Vernon (Sharlto Copley) and Ord (Armie Hammer) who are selling them a stash of guns. But when shots are fired in the handover, a heart stopping game of survival ensues.
*In the United States, Free Fire is distributed theatrically by A24. A local Blu-ray release is expected to be announced later this year.
