Twentieth Century Fox and Lightstorm Entertainment have announced the official theatrical release dates for the four Avatar sequels. The upcoming films will be released in the following order: December 18, 2020, December 17, 2021, December 20, 2024 and December 19, 2025.
In 2014, director James Cameron revealed that Sigourney Weaver will return for the new films. Other confirmed cast members include Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Stephen Lang.
