Saffron Hill, a Peccadillo Pictures company, will release on Blu-ray Hope Dickson-Leach's debut feature The Levelling (2016), starring Ellie Kendrick, David Troughton, Jack Holden, and Joe Blakemore. The release will be available for purchase on July 17.
Last year, the first ever IWC Filmmaker Bursary Award in Association with the BFI was awarded to writer-director Hope Dickson-Leach.
Synopsis: Clover (Kendrick) returns to her family farm after the mysterious passing death of her brother, Harry. Against the backdrop of the floods that devastated her home, Clover confronts her estranged father, Aubrey (Troughton), attempting to uncover the truth. Shadowed by ill-remembered conflicts and unspoken regrets, the pair set out to heal their fractious yet still loving relationship.
