Australian label Via Vision Entertainment has informed us that it plans to release three new titles on Blu-ray: Freddie Francis'
The Torture Garden (1967), David Cronenberg's
Shivers (1975), and Penny Marshall's
Riding in Cars with Boys (2001).
Torture Garden
Synopsis: Anthology film from Amicus adapted from four short stories by Robert Bloch strung together about a fairground sideshow run by the sinister Dr. Diabolo and the shears of the female deity Atropos. Stories include "Terror Over Hollywood", "Mr. Steinway", "Enoch" and "The Man Who Collected Poe". Starring Jack Palance, Burgess Meredith, Peter Cushing, Maurice Denham, and Barbara Ewing.
