Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Pictures have released the first official domestic teaser trailer for director Rian Johnson's film Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017), starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, and Andy Serkis. Currently, the film is set to open in theaters across the nation on December 15.
Also included with this announcement is the first official theatrical poster for the upcoming film.
Synopsis: Having taken her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga.
