British label Nucleus Films has confirmed that its new 2K restoration of Giulio Questi's cult film Death Laid an Egg a.k.a. La morte ha fatto l'uovo (1968) will feature additional thirteen scenes totalling around thirteen minutes of previously unseen footage. The Blu-ray release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Synopsis: A woman (Ewa Aulin) plans to kill both her lover (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and his wife (Gina Lollobrigida) but conspires with each one to get the job done. Cinematography by Dario Di Palma (Ettore Scola's Ugly, Dirty and Bad, Lina Wertmüller's The Seduction of Mimi).
