U.S. label Scorpion Releasing has confined that it is preparing a Blu-ray release of director Juan Luis Buñuel's film Leonor a.k.a. Mistress of the Devil (1975), starring Michel Piccoli, Liv Ullmann, Ornella Muti, Carmen Maura, Antonio Ferrandis, George Rigaud, and Angel del Pozo. The release is expected to arrive on the market this spring.
Plot: A female vampire rises from her crypt every night in search of children as her victims. Cinematography by Luciano Tovoli (Dario Argento's Suspiria). Soundtrack by the legendary Italian maestro Ennio Morricone (Once Upon a Time in America).
