U.S. label Scream Factory has confirmed that it will add five new titles to its Blu-ray catalog:
The Man from Planet X (1951),
The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake (1959),
The Bat People (1974),
Vicious Lips (1986), and
Alienator (1990). The Blu-ray releases are expected to arrives on the market this summer.
Alienator
Synopsis: Kol, an alien criminal, escapes from a spaceship into the woods of an American suburb. The commander (Jan-Michael Vincent) of the spaceship dispatches The Alienator -- a deadly female gynoid, to capture Kol. He meets up with some teenagers as they are all running from fiery death at the hands of The Alienator. She relentlessly pursues Kol and the teens through a series of action sequences and low-budget special effects. Kol must face the toughest decision of his life: kill or be killed. Directed by Fred Olen Ray, and starring Jan-Michael Vincent, John Phillip Law, Ross Hagen, and Dyana Ortelli.
The Man from Planet X
Synopsis: To study a rogue planet heading for a near-miss with Earth, Prof. Elliot sets up an observatory on the foggy moors of a remote Scottish island, with his pretty daughter and Dr. Mears, a former student with a shady past. Soon after arrival of reporter John Lawrence, a ship from Planet X just happens to land near the observatory. Is the visitor (who actually looks alien) benevolent? What are Mears' real motives for trying to communicate with it...? Directed by Edgar Ulmer, and starring Robert Clarke, Margaret Field, Raymond Bond, William Schallert, and Pat Goldin.

Synopsis: Jonathan Drake, while attending his brother's funeral, is shocked to find the head of the deceased is missing. When his brother's skull shows up later in a locked cabinet, Drake realizes an ancient curse placed upon his grandfather by a tribe of South American Jivaro Indians is still in effect and that he himself is the probable next victim. That night he is awakened by the approach of an Indian, his lips sewed together with string, and wielding a curare-tipped bamboo knife... Directed by Edward L. Vicious Lips
Synopsis: A band finally gets the opportunity for that breakthrough gig if they can make it to an "in" club on another planet in time. Directed by Albert Pyun, and starring Dru-Anne Perry, Gina Calabrese, Linda Kerridge, Mary-Anne Graves, Shayne Farris, Christian Andrews, and Anthony Kentz.
