Warner Bros. has sent us the first official domestic trailer for dierctor Christopher Nolan's latest project, Dunkirk, starring Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, and Mark Rylance. The film will open in theaters across the nation on July 21, 2017.
Warner Bros. also plans to have special engagements in 70mm, 35mm, and IMAX venues.
Dunkirk will be lensed by Swiss cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema (Interstellar, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), and will have an original score by Oscar-wining German composer Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Thin Red Line).
Plot: Allied soldiers from Belgium, Britain and France are surrounded by the German army and evacuated during a fierce battle in World War II.
