Paramount Pictures has sent us the first official domestic teaser trailer for dierctor Michael Bay's upcoming film Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), starring Anthony Hopkins, Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Stanley Tucci, John Goodman, Josh Duhamel, and John Turturro. The film will open in theaters across the nation on June 23.
Plot: Optimus Prime discovers that his home planet, Cybertron, is now a dead planet, which he comes to find he was responsible for killing. He finds a way to bring the planet back to life, but in order to do so he needs to find an artifact, and that artifact is on Earth.
*Earlier this year, local distributors Shout Factory released on Blu-ray director Nelson Shin's original Transformers film. The release celebrates the film's 30th anniversary.
