For the week that ended on November 27th, Walt Disney Pictures Home Entertainment's Finding Dory remained at the top of both the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media rankings. The long-awaited sequel to the 2003 animated classic Finding Nemo was one of Summer 2016's biggest hits. To date, the film has gone on to gross more than $1 billion globally, and it also mustered a robust critical reception (its Metacritic score is 77%). This week, Finding Dory had a very strong Blu-ray market share of 79%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only sales list was Paramount Home Media Distribution's Star Trek Beyond. The latest of the Bad Robot-produced Star Trek reboots, Star Trek Beyond had a tough time connecting with audiences this summer. While it engendered fairly respectable critical notices (as evinced by its 68% Metacritic score), this sci-fi blockbuster only grossed just under $159 million domestically on top of its estimated $185-million production budget. On the Blu-ray-only list, Star Trek Beyond sold 25% as many discs as Finding Dory and had a solid Blu-ray market share of 74%. And regarding the overall package-media chart, Star Trek came in third place - behind Fox's Deadpool - and sold 27% as many discs as Pixar's animated hit.

Finally, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's X-Men: Apocalypse rounded out the top-three titles on the Blu-ray-only rankings. The latest in the recent X-Men prequel trilogy, Apocalypse struggled to make it past mediocre critical and commercial receptions. The film netted a so-so Metacritic grade of 52% and only grossed $155 million domestically on top of its estimated $178-million production budget. In terms of the Blu-ray-only list, the film had a Blu-ray market share of 74% and sold 21% as many Blu-rays as Finding Dory. On the overall package-media chart, Apocalypse fell to fourth place, selling 23% as many total units as Finding Dory.
