Kino Lorber have confirmed that they are preparing a Blu-ray release of dierctor Lawrence Schiller's film
The Executioner's Song (1982), starring Tommy Lee Jones, Christine Lahti, Rosanna Arquette, Eli Wallach, and Steven Keats. The release will arrive on the market early next year.
Synopsis: Released from prison in 1976, Gary Gilmore attempts to go straight but ends up embarking on a robbery spree that culminates in two cold-blooded murders. Arrested and sentenced to be executed, Gilmore spends his final days as a poster boy for anti-death penalty activists. Adapted by Norman Mailer from his own book.
