For the week that ended on November 20th, Walt Disney Pictures Home Entertainment's Finding Dory premiered at the top of both the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media rankings. The long-awaited sequel to the 2003 animated classic Finding Nemo was one of Summer 2016's biggest hits. To date, the film has gone on to gross more than $1 billion globally, and it also mustered a robust critical reception (its Metacritic score is 77%). This week, Finding Dory had a strong Blu-ray market share of 70%.

Next up on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists was HBO Home Entertainment's Game of Thrones: The Complete Sixth Season. This dark fantasy - an adaptation of author George R. R. Martin's acclaimed A Song of Fire and Ice series - has been a hit for the network since its premiere in 2011, and the sixth season saw its ratings and critical acclaim rise to even higher levels. On the Blu-ray-only list, Game of Thrones sold 10% as many discs as Finding Dory and had a Blu-ray market share of 55%. And regarding the overall package-media chart, Game of Thrones sold 12% as many discs as the Disney/Pixar sequel.

Finally, Paramount Home Media Distribution's Star Trek Beyond rounded out the top-three titles on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media rankings. The latest of the Bad Robot-produced Star Trek reboots, Star Trek Beyond had a tough time connecting with audiences this summer. While it engendered fairly respectable critical notices (as evinced by its 68% Metacritic score), this sci-fi blockbuster only grossed just under $159 million domestically on top of its estimated $185-million production budget. On the Blu-ray-only list, Star Trek Beyond sold 6% as many Blu-rays and total units as Finding Dory and had a solid Blu-ray market share of 67%.
