During the San Diego Comic-Con 2008, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced that they would bring '
Ghostbusters I & II' to Blu-ray in conjunction with a new video game based on the popular films. While no official release date was ever revealed, it was widely assumed that they would be released sometime in October.
Well, October has since passed, and the video game has been delayed, but new word from Atari - the company which is producing the game - is that they now plan to release the game to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the film. That date just happens to be June 8th, so prepare to get slimmed on Blu-ray sometime in the Summer of 2009.
As soon as Sony sets an official release date, we'll let you know.
